Chiropractor in North Andover : Dr. Linda Rose Haley, CCEP

Dr. Linda Rose Haley is a 1997 graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College.  She decided to become a chiropractor after attending New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutics Arts for massage therapy.  It was at NHITA that Dr. Haley learned about the body’s innate healing power and was introduced to the world of holistic medicine.

While practicing massage on her clients Dr. Haley noticed that although they left her office loose and relaxed, they would return within a week or two with the same problem.  Remembering how chiropractic care could correct the subluxation or misalignment of the spine and relieve nerve pressure returning the body to homeostasis she decided to return to school and learn more about this healing profession.

At that time, she was plagued with a nagging foot problem that prevented her from participating in her favorite sport, running.  She decided to ask a chiropractor if he could help her foot.  The answer was yes!  He explained that chiropractic is not just about the correcting the spine, but can correct any joint including feet, knees, elbows, wrists and shoulders.  After just a few adjustments she was back running and had no more foot pain.

Dr Haley became a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner after graduating Palmer and adjusts the extremities in addition to the spine.  She works with runners, marathoners, running teams, cyclists, student athletes and of course, the general population.

Her knowledge in running, fitness and health has helped many achieve their goals.  She has assisted patients training to run their first 5K.  She has worked with competitive cyclists, and has had the pleasure of caring for athletes training to qualify for the Olympic marathon trials.

Dr Haley has run for more than 30 years and has competed in every race from the 200 m to the marathon.  She has run 4 marathons including 2 Boston Marathons as a qualified runner.  She has coached high school track, worked as a fitness instructor and has done pre and post massage at the Boston Marathon.

She continues to stay fit by running, weight lifting, cycling and inline skating.  She also enjoys sailing on the weekends.

She is passionate about animal welfare and volunteers her time at the MSPCA at Nevins Farms in Methuen walking, caring and training the dogs.  Dr. Haley is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner which is a commitment to train dogs using only positive training methods.

Dr. Haley is a native of the north shore and currently lives in West Newbury with her dog Cally.
